The candidates are advised to ensure while applying that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects.
In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment process that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and/or does not comply with other requirements and/or he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature is liable to be rejected.
If any of the above shortcomings is/are detected, even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated without any notice.

Candidates belonging to OBC category but not covered under 'Non-Creamy Layer' are not entitled to OBC reservation. As such, they should indicate their category as 'GENERAL'.

Candidates are advised to possess a valid e-mail ID , which is to be entered in the on-line Application Form.They are also advised to retain this e-mail ID active for at least next One Year as any important intimation to the candidates shall be provided by BHEL through e-mail.

Candidates are advised to be cautious while filling the application form on-line about accuracy and correctness of the information. They may cross-check the information furnished in the application form before finally submitting the same as no correction would be possible later.
In case candidates are desirous of changing any detail in their application form, they are required to submit a fresh application with the necessary correction. The acknowledgement slip for this fresh application may be printed and sent to us along with required chalan copy and certificates ( If applicable).

BHEL reserves the right to cancel/ restrict/ enlarge the recruitment process, if the need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason therefore.

Selected candidates can be posted to any of the Units/ Divisions/ Project Sites etc. of BHEL.

Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this recruitment and/ or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Delhi and Courts/ Tribunals/ Forums at Delhi only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause/ dispute.

Departmental Candidates (BHEL Employees) should send their application through their HR department.

Candidates presently employed in Central/ State Government, Autonomous bodies, PSUs may apply through ‘Proper channel’ or submit ‘No-Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview from their employer, if they qualify upto the stage of interview.

Candidate finally selected are required to work at the initial place of posting for a period of five years, unless transferred by the Company in Organizational interest. No request for change in place of posting/transfer will be considered during this period. In case any outside influence is brought upon any superior authority in this matter, it will be construed as a misconduct as per Rule 17 of the BHEL Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules.

Candidates are advised to ensure that they must fill their GATE-2012 registration number correctly. BHEL will not be responsible for the wrongly filled GATE-2012 registration number.

Vacancies reserved for OBC category are meant
only for OBC candidates coming under 'Non-Creamy
Layer' (NCL). 'Non-Creamy Layer' under OBC means
'The gross annual income of parents of the
candidate should not be more than Rs.4.5 lakhs
in last three consecutive years in line with
DOPT OM No. 36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 14th
Oct,2008.'
- As per clarification by DOP&T vide their O.M dated 14.10.2004, following candidates will fall in OBC creamy layer:
- Wards of parents, either one or both of whom are directly recruited in Class I/Group A posts in Govt. Services or PSUs.
- Wards of parents, both whom are directly recruited in Class II/Group B posts.
- Wards of parents, of whom only the husband is directly recruited in Class II/Group B post and he gets into Class I/Group A post at the age of 40 years or earlier.
